Excellent baijiu. My first foray into strong aroma. Excellent price point.
If you just handed me a shot, I would think it was very strong melon liqueur.
Absolutely no horsey smell or taste.
The aftertaste was numbing and cooling, like absinthe.
I happen to not like absinthe, anise, or licorice. So strong aroma is not my cup of tea.
Regardless, I can tell it was excellently made. Impressively smooth & sweet.
Look forward to sipping it from time to time & trying to make cocktails with it.
